Mohali:- On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day of the country, the Dr. Ambedkar Welfare Mission Punjab (Registered), Sector-69, Mohali, celebrated Republic Day with great reverence and enthusiasm. The national flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the Chief Guest, retired IAS officer Shri Khushi Ram, who also extended Republic Day greetings to the people.
He apprised the people about the rights and responsibilities enshrined in the Constitution of India by its architect, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He also remembered the patriots who made invaluable contributions to the freedom struggle. On this occasion, the President of the organization, Dr. Jagtar Singh IRS (Retired), thanked the intellectuals and prominent citizens of the city who were present.
Also present on the occasion were the organization's patron Kulwant Singh, Prithi Chand IAS (Retired), Chief Engineer RL Sandhu (Retired), Senior Vice President Pyarelal, General Secretary Balbir Singh, Vice Presidents Sikandar Singh Dhamot and Baldev Singh, Pritam Singh, Bhagat Ram Rangara, and Davinder Singh Dhamot, along with other members of the organization.
