Washington DC:- US President Donald Trump is planning to visit Beijing in April, where he will meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. According to a report by 'Politico', this will be his first visit to China during Trump's second term.
In a recent interview, Trump himself confirmed this, saying, "I am going to China in April and Xi Jinping will be here by the end of the year." In fact, the two leaders had a 90-minute phone conversation on February 4. According to Trump, the conversation was mainly focused on trade.
Trump wrote on 'Truth Social' that President Xi has invited him and the First Lady to visit China. He said that it is very important to have good relations between the leaders of the two largest countries in the world.
According to Chinese media, Xi Jinping has urged the US to withdraw negative decisions taken against China and work together with equality and respect. Although the two leaders are preparing to meet, tensions between the two countries remain on several issues. China has not yet lifted restrictions on the export of rare earth minerals, which is why the Trump administration is angry.
