Ambala, June 14:- On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the District Red Cross Society, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner and Society Chairman Ajay Singh Domar and Secretary Vijay Lakshmi, organized a blood donation camp in Red Cross Bhawan Ambala city, in which the team of Dr. Neetu Sachdeva of Civil Hospital collected only 28 units of blood.
This camp was conducted by Program Officer Manoj Saini, while on this occasion, star donors Rajinder Garg, Shrikrishna Saini, life member Rakesh Makkar, Principal Dr. Kiran Angha etc. encouraged the blood donors.
The specialty of this camp was that in this camp, three people from SD College, Sanjeev, his brother and wife, set an example by donating blood together. The blood donors were honored with badges, certificates and mementos. Star blood donors were also honored on this occasion.
Those who donated blood included Sanjay Khan, Sahil Baba, Jitesh, Sania, Gurpreet Singh and Amanjot from the Red Cross Society.
