Karnal, October 30: District Red Cross Society Secretary Kulbir Malik stated that under the TB Project, operated under the guidance of Haryana Red Cross Society Chandigarh Vice Chairman Ankush Miglani and General Secretary Mahesh Joshi, and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh, nutrition ration kits were distributed free of charge to TB patients on Thursday.
He added that in furtherance of the Prime Minister's TB-Free India campaign, 10 TB patients selected by the Red Cross team under the Nikshay Mitra Yojana were distributed nutrition kits at the Red Cross Bhawan, Nayapuri. During the meeting, they discussed their illness-related issues and were advised to take regular medications and eat nutritious food, such as a protein-rich diet, to help them recover quickly.
