District Legal Services Authority hoists the flag against drugs

Hoshiarpur:- Following the guidelines of Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar and the orders of District and Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal, the District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur, under the leadership of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Neeraj Goyal, organized awareness programs in various villages of district Hoshiarpur and sub-divisions today with the aim of making the youth aware about not consuming drugs.
On this occasion, awareness seminars were presided over by Sarita Kanwar Retainer Advocate, Jaspinder Singh Panel Advocate, Rajinder Singh Panel Advocate, Pankaj Chaudhary Advocate/Secretary Bar, Namrata Minhas, Sanjeev Jassal, Advocate/Vice President, Brij Bala Panel Advocate, Vikram Bhalla Panel Advocate, Rupika Thakur Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Council and Miss Niharika Assistant Legal Aid Defense Council Hoshiarpur.
While telling the youth and the community about this campaign during the seminars, he said that the main objective of this campaign is to motivate the young generation to give up drugs in the future and do good deeds so that a good society can be created. He also said that drug abuse ruins human life and creates unrest in the home.
Information was given about NALSA (Drug Awareness and Wellness Navigation - For Drug Free India), Yojana 2025 and the impact of drugs on health, family and social life and the legal provisions of the NDPS Act. Finally, promotional materials were distributed by para-legal volunteers working in the District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur.
