Jalandhar- The final touches have been given to the preparations for a discussion seminar being held under the 'Bhai Santokh Singh Kirti Lecture Series' at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall on May 5 at 11:00 AM sharp, marking the 208th birth anniversary of Karl Marx.
Kulwant Singh Sandhu, President of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee; Gurmeet Singh, General Secretary; and Amolak Singh, Convener of the Cultural Wing, informed that Buta Singh Mehmoodpur—a renowned writer, champion of democratic rights, and translator of quality literature—will be the keynote speaker on the subject of "Relevance of Marxism in Contemporary Times." 
They stated that an open invitation has been extended to all literary, cultural, democratic, rationalist, and labor organizations, as well as social and pro-people institutions, to participate in the discussion, for which a massive response is being received.
