Hoshiarpur: The 118th death anniversary of the great ascetic Brahmalin Sant Gyan Das, along with the annual commemorative event in memory of Sant Charan Das and Sant Satnam Das, was observed with deep reverence at Dera Sachkhand Gyanpuri, Vichohi. The event was held under the guidance of Gaddi Nashin Sant Manjit Das, a member of the Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampraday Society (Regd.), Punjab, and was attended by devotees from across the country and abroad.
Following the bhog (concluding ceremony) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Kirtan Diwans were organized. Various Kirtani jathas, Ragis, Dhadis, and Kavishari groups, along with saints from different Deras, enlightened the sangat with Gurbani and history related to the life of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. Political and social leaders from Punjab also attended the event to pay their respects.
Prominent figures present included Sant Inder Das Sekhai (General Secretary, Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampraday Society), Sant Sarwan Das Ludhiana, Sant Dharampal Shergarh, Sant Santokh Das Ganeshpur Bharta, Sant Mahavir Singh Tajewal, Sant Jagir Singh, and several other saints. Local MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar, Shiromani Akali Dal constituency in-charge Harminder Singh Sandhu, and many other dignitaries were present. 
Principal Jaswant Singh performed the duties of stage secretary efficiently. Sant Manjit Das honored the visiting saints, social figures, and political personalities, and expressed his gratitude to all the devotees.
