Development Works Worth Nearly 2 Crore Transform Village Jainpur

Dhuri/Sangrur, February 5:- As part of the Punjab Government’s ongoing initiatives for the all-round development of villages, development works amounting to nearly ?2 crore have been carried out in village Jainpur of the Dhuri constituency, resulting in a significant transformation of the village’s overall appearance. With the installation of LED solar street lights, village Jainpur now remains fully illuminated at night, giving it the appearance of a modern urban settlement.
With a focus on enhancing public safety, 26 CCTV cameras have been installed at various strategic locations across the village. This has strengthened the surveillance system and enabled effective monitoring of activities, thereby improving the overall security environment. In addition, 100 percent of the roads in village Jainpur have been constructed. The village phirni has also been developed with concrete at a cost of approximately ?1.25 crore, ensuring smooth traffic movement and further improving the village’s infrastructure.
OSD to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sukhvir Singh stated that the Punjab Government is continuously releasing funds for village development and is committed to providing villages with modern facilities along with essential basic amenities. He informed that development works worth nearly ?2 crore have already been completed in village Jainpur and that additional grants will be released for further development works in the near future.
On the occasion, BDPO Dhuri, Sukhvinder Singh informed that development works worth nearly ?1 crore are being executed in village Jainpur through the Panchayat Department. He added that projects related to streets and drains, street lighting, block tiles, and solid waste management have already been completed.
Village Sarpanch, Rajwinder Kaur Balling, expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government and said that due to the continuous release of funds, development works are being carried out consistently in the village, resulting in substantial benefits for the residents.
