Developed Haryana document prepared as per Developed India 2047 Rao Narbir Singh
Chandigarh, April 7:- Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Mr. Rao Narbir Singh said that a Developed Haryana document has been prepared in the state to realize the vision of Developed India 2047. Under this document, all the departments have been instructed to prepare action plans according to their respective visions, forms and challenges, keeping in mind the years 2030, 2036 and 2047.
He said that the National Capital Region will be the center of Developed India. Keeping this in mind, the Haryana government has made necessary amendments in its industrial policy and has prepared a draft of Make in Haryana policy. So that the state can be made a major center of industrial investment.
Special incentives to promote investment and employment
Rao Narbir Singh said that to attract new industrial investment, capital subsidy, financial incentives for research and development activities and recruitment of youth through Haryana Skill Employment Corporation will be increased.
He said that with the aim of providing maximum employment to local youth in industries, the current employment subsidy of Rs. 48,000 per employee will be increased to Rs. 1 lakh per employee per year.
Old industrial areas will be improved
He said that the government is committed to improving the condition of old industrial areas like Sonipat, Hisar, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Neelokheri, Bahadurgarh, Barwala and Panipat, which were established during the period of United Punjab. The Chief Minister has proposed to set up a fund with an initial amount of Rs 500 crore in the year 2026-27 to develop better infrastructure in these areas in his budget speech, which is welcome.
Promotion of new IMTs and industrial expansion
He said that the land acquisition process for new industrial model townships in Ambala and Narayangarh has started. Apart from this, proposals have been invited from farmers through the e-Bhoomi portal to develop new IMTs in Tosham, Jind, Rewari, Faridabad and Rai.
New industrial policies will be implemented
Rao Narbir Singh said that new formats of 12 industrial policies announced earlier have been prepared. Along with this, drafts of policies related to semiconductors, pharmaceutical and medical devices, toys and sports equipment and animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality have also been prepared. All these policies will be implemented in the year 2026-27.
Investment process will be simple and transparent
He said that keeping in mind the prices of industrial land, HSIIDC will implement a land on lease policy, under which industrial plots will be made available on lease for a long period and later the option of converting them into freehold will also be given. Apart from this, ready-made factories and sheds with plug-and-play facilities will be developed in the major industrial areas of the state, so that the establishment and operation of industries can be expedited.
For the convenience of investors, a system of issuing Land Feasibility Certificate within 45 working days will be started. Also, an advance ruling portal will be established for the immediate resolution of the problems of investors, in which it will be necessary for the concerned departments to respond within 15 days.
The Industries Minister expressed confidence that with these initiatives, industrial development in Haryana will get a new momentum and the state will move rapidly towards the goal of Developed Haryana.
