Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee held a meeting
Jalandhar:- The meeting of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee held after three years was successfully concluded today. In this meeting, Kulwant Singh Sandhu (President), Gurmeet Singh (General Secretary), Dr. Parminder Singh (Vice President), Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar (Assistant Secretary) and Sital Singh Sangha (Finance Secretary) were unanimously elected for the next three years.
The elected office bearers assured the meeting that they will firmly guard the declaration and constitution of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, the heir of Ghadar Party, all revolutionary democratic pro-people movements of the freedom struggle. He said that the Ghadar movement is such a unique page in the history of independence that it beats and spreads light in the movements struggling to create a new and healthy society full of solidarity by eliminating imperialism, communal fascist attacks, attacks by domestic and foreign corporate houses, casteism, injustice and all kinds of discrimination.
The office bearers said that we promise that we will keep the honor and glory of the Patriotic Memorial Hall high by playing the role of a beacon and beacon of light for the fulfillment of these objectives. They will always rise above caste interests and give priority to the interests of the Patriotic Memorial Hall. In today's meeting, all the supporting organizations and people were congratulated for the success of the 34th Ghadri Babas' Fair and the opinions and suggestions received to take the next fair to even greater heights were accepted with a raised forehead.
The meeting noted that it is an honor to have a large number of students of universities, colleges, young generation and hardworking people participating in the fair with their heads together, and more importantly, the fair was successful in giving a message of awareness and awareness to the people about our history, heritage, present and future challenges.
The meeting began with Dr. Balwinder Singh, former leader of the Government Teachers Union, Dalip Singh Ropar, farmer leader Harjit Singh Kotkapura, sharing his grief with the families of Dharmendra. Apart from this, the unique sacrifice of martyr Kartar Singh Sarabha and his companions who were martyred in the Ghadar movement and Ghadri Gulab Kaur was paid homage.
