Deputy Speaker Raudi Grants 6 Lakh Development Fund to Kokowal

Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur: Sardar Jai Krishan Singh Raudi, Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and MLA from Garhshankar, presented a cheque worth ?6 lakh for village development works during a public outreach program (*Jan Milni*) held in village Kokowal. On this occasion, he listened attentively to the villagers' grievances and assured them that their legitimate demands would be addressed on a priority basis.
Deputy Speaker Raudi stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is fully committed to the all-round development of villages. He noted that development works are being carried out in every village of the Garhshankar constituency without any discrimination, and providing better basic amenities to the people is among the government's top priorities.
He remarked that the objective of these public outreach programs is to hear people's issues on the spot and ensure their speedy resolution. He directed the concerned officials to avoid any negligence in official duties and to ensure that tasks related to the public are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Meanwhile, the village panchayat and prominent citizens expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Speaker, stating that this grant of ?6 lakh would accelerate essential development projects in the village. They also appreciated the efforts being made by the Punjab government for rural development.
A large number of villagers, panchayat members, Aam Aadmi Party office-bearers and workers, as well as officials from various departments, were present at the event.
