Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of schemes during revenue officers meeting

Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today held an important review meeting with the revenue officers of the district, in which the progress of various revenue-related matters and pending works were discussed in detail.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the current status of Swamitva Yojana (Ownership Scheme) and directed the officers to prepare property cards in the villages on time and deliver them to the beneficiaries, so that the common people do not have to face any kind of problem related to ownership rights.
The Deputy Commissioner also discussed the progress of the easy registration process and said that providing transparent, simple and fast services to the common people is the priority of the administration. He directed for early resolution of pending mutation (name transfer) cases due to software issues. He conducted a detailed review of the collections related to stamps and registration. He directed for early recovery of pending land revenue arrears.
Apart from this, the status of land records, pending status of Musavi authentication and collection of land revenue were also thoroughly reviewed. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain clarified that all revenue related work should be completed within the stipulated time frame, and negligence will not be tolerated at any level. She directed the officers to work in coordination and ensure that the problems of common citizens are resolved on priority basis.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SDM Dasuha Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar, District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla, DSM Charan Kanwal Singh and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
