Deputy Commissioner reviews Mukhtar Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana

Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner **Ashika Jain** while reviewing the ongoing Mukhtar Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana in the district appealed to the representatives of private hospitals to get their hospitals listed under this scheme, so that people from every area of ??the district can get quality treatment facilities near them.
Talking to the representatives of various private hospitals at the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner said that Hoshiarpur district is at the fourth position in making cards of Mukhtar Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana in Punjab. She said that **3,25,023** cards have been made in the district so far.
Ashika Jain said that under this scheme, **cashless treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh** is provided to the beneficiaries in the hospitals listed. She said that the district administration has organized special registration camps and cards of maximum people have been made. This registration is done by CSC It can be done on the basis of Aadhaar card and voter identity card in government and private hospitals through the centers or Arogya Mitra.
He said that currently **eight hospitals** in the district are listed under this scheme. These include Dhami Nursing Home, Narad Hospital, PRKM. Modern Hospital, Jhanji Hospital, Swami Premanand Hospital, Parvesh Hospital, Mathan Apex Hospital and Central Hospital, where beneficiaries can avail treatment facilities up to Rs. 10 lakh.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to private hospitals to get their hospitals listed for joining this Jan-Bhalai Yojana, so that maximum people can get its benefits. He said that private hospitals can apply for empanelment through the **ump.pmjay.gov.in** portal.
He also informed that **Rs. 1.84 crore** has been paid to various listed hospitals under this scheme in the district so far, which is a proof of the effective performance of this scheme.
