**No-Parking/No-Vending Zone also applicable from Mehatpur to Basdehra Railway Road**
Instructions have been issued to declare a no-parking and no-vending zone on both sides of the road from Mehatpur to Basdehra Railway Road to prevent traffic congestion on these busy routes.

No two-wheeler/four-wheeler or any other vehicle will be allowed to park at this location on this day. The two nearby parking lots, MC Mehatpur Parking and the private parking near the overhead tank, will be available for all types of vehicles at normal charges.
Additionally, every Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, a farmers' vegetable market will be held at the MC parking lot in Mehatpur Basdehra, near the MC office on Old Dehla Nangal Road. No two-wheeler/four-wheeler/or any other vehicle will be allowed to park at this location on this day.
**Farmers and Vendors' Interests are Top Priority: DC**
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the administration's effort is not only to improve traffic but also to provide a convenient, safe, and organized space for farmers and vendors. He said that farmers and vendors are like family to us. Ensuring their income is secure and that they can conduct their business respectfully is our priority.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that keeping in mind the small vendors and farmers affected by the recently declared no-vending zones in some areas, instructions have been issued to immediately allocate the shops constructed near the Zila Parishad.
This location is central and easily accessible, where vendors can safely sell their produce and goods without disrupting traffic. Along with this, the process of developing the old bus stand and other suitable locations in the municipal area as vending zones and car parking areas will also be initiated.
The Deputy Commissioner said that well-organized vending zones will reduce congestion in busy areas, improve civic order, and will not affect the income of local farmers and vendors. At the same time, citizens will have easy access to fresh produce and essential goods.
