Nawanshahr:- Livjot Singh, who brought glory to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar in the state-level under-12 wrestling championship organized by Punjab Wrestling Association at Cheema Mandi (Sangrur), was specially honoured by Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh at the District Administrative Complex today.
Livjot Singh, a resident of village Poonia and son of Sardar Parvinder Singh, has brought pride to the district by winning bronze medal (third place) in 60 kg weight category by displaying excellent moves. This young wrestler is working hard under the supervision of coach Balvir at Desh Bhagat Master Dalip Singh Babbar Wrestling Center Gosal.
Darrick is a brilliant student of class VI of international school Banga. DC Gulpreet Singh Aulakh congratulated Livjot Singh and wished him well for reaching greater heights in the future.
