Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh launched the districtlevel mega admission campaign

Nawanshahr:- The district-level mega admission campaign for the academic session 2026-27 was launched by Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh from School of Eminence (SOE) Nawanshahr. On this occasion, District Education Officer Anita Sharma and Deputy District Education Officer Lakhvir Singh were also present. Addressing the function organized on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, an education revolution has been brought in Punjab and today our government schools have become up to date and free education is being provided in these schools.
Children have the facility of free books, free uniforms and free middle day meals. Apart from this, scholarships are also being given to children by the government. He said that highly educated teachers are working in government schools and are providing better education to the children. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the parents of the children to get their children admitted in government schools so that their children can get better and better education.
He said that children of government schools have got admission in IITs and big medical colleges. He said that nursery classes have been started in government schools of Punjab on the lines of private schools. Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh flagged off the district's admission campaign van. This admission van will inform the people about the achievements of the education department in different villages of all the blocks of the district and will motivate the people to get their children admitted in government schools.
