Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain reviews progress of departmental schemes

Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain held a review meeting with officials from various departments at the District Administrative Complex today and reviewed the progress of departmental programs and schemes. During the meeting, she specifically discussed matters, schemes, and pending work related to the Revenue Department and directed officials to complete all tasks in a timely and transparent manner.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain inquired about the current status of land maps, Mera Ghar Mera Naam, Easy Registration, and Easy Jamabandi. She took a detailed review of stamp and registration-related recoveries and directed to expedite the recovery of pending land revenue arrears. She emphasized that the Revenue Department's services should be made more simple, accessible, and transparent for the general public, so that people do not face unnecessary difficulties.
The meeting also reviewed status reports on ongoing land acquisition cases, khasra-wise mapping, timely submission of Utilization Certificates (UCs) for civil works, and complaints related to illegal mining. The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to ensure the resolution of all cases within the stipulated timeframe. He also issued instructions regarding flood protection works, the Chief Minister's Tirtha Yojana, the Election Department, and the Human Rights Commission.
In addition, the progress of ongoing development works under the District Mineral Foundation was discussed in detail. The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to ensure that these projects are completed with quality and in a timely manner, so that the general public can derive maximum benefit.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Nidhi Kumud Bambah, Assistant Commissioner Oeshy Mandal, SDM Dasuha Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Garhshankar Parampreet Singh, SDM Hoshiarpur Amandeep Kaur Ghuman, SDM Mukerian Jyotsana, SDM Tanda Lovepreet Singh, District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla and other departmental officers were present.
