Deputy Commissioner Administers Pledge to Firmly Oppose Terrorism and Violence
Una, May 21: On the occasion of ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ today, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal administered a pledge against terrorism to government officers and employees within the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
It is noteworthy that the death anniversary of former Prime Minister, the late Rajiv Gandhi, is observed annually as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’; on this day, special oath-taking ceremonies are organized to administer a pledge to firmly oppose terrorism and violence.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to steer the public—particularly the youth—away from the path of terrorism and violence. He also administered a pledge to foster peace, social harmony, and understanding among all sections of humanity, and to combat the divisive forces that pose a threat to human values.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, SDM Abhishek Mittal, ASPs Sanjeev Bhatia and Surendra Sharma, along with other administrative officers and staff members, participated in this oath-taking ceremony.
