Deputy Chief Minister to Inaugurate Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav2025

Una, November 13 – Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will inaugurate the Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav-2025 on November 14. This grand event will be held from November 14th to 16th at the Mela Ground in Amb. The closing ceremony will be held on November 16th under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania. This information was provided by Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the festival will be inaugurated on November 14th with a procession of the sacred flame of Mata Shri Chintpurni Ji at 4 pm at the Mela Ground in Amb. The inauguration ceremony will showcase a unique confluence of devotion, culture, and folk traditions.
Cultural evenings will be organized daily during the three-day festival, featuring performances by local artists as well as renowned artists from the state and country. Popular singer Babbu Maan will perform on November 14th, while renowned artist Amrit Maan will mesmerize the audience with his songs on November 16th. In addition, renowned Himachali singers AC Bhardwaj, Kumar Sahil, and Anuj Sharma, along with other Himachali artists, will bring the state's rich musical tradition to life with their melodious performances.
Further, performances such as the Mahishasur Mardini dance, the Himachali Nati Group, and the Firdaus Band will be highlights of the cultural evenings. The festival will feature a flower festival, amusement rides, exhibition stalls, and Himachali handicraft exhibitions. Special programs related to social awareness will also be organized.
Meanwhile, MLA Sudarshan Singh Bablu stated that under the guidance of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and the inspiration of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, efforts are being made to elevate the festival to new heights. He said that this event is not only a cultural celebration, but will also provide new opportunities for the region's economy, entrepreneurship, and local employment.
It is noteworthy that this year marks the second edition of the festival. The first edition, held last year from September 26th to 28th at Amb Maidan, was a huge success. The festival made its mark as an inspiring cultural initiative combining faith and folk culture.
