Deputy Chief Minister Joins Pilgrimage to Chintpurni Temple
Una, February 3: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Tuesday joined the pilgrimage to Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple, organized by Pujya Shri Hemanand Maharaj Ji, the head of Dera Baba Shri Rudranand Ji Ashram. This sacred pilgrimage was organized to seek the blessings of Mata Rani before Pujya Shri Hemanand Maharaj Ji assumes his spiritual seat.
The Deputy Chief Minister participated in the pilgrimage led by Pujya Shri Hemanand Maharaj Ji, walking alongside the devotees. On this occasion, he respectfully remembered the late Shri Shri 1008 Sugrivanand Maharaj Ji. Sudarshan Bablu, the MLA from the Chintpurni constituency, was also present during the pilgrimage. Thousands of devotees participated in the pilgrimage, and the entire area resonated with the resounding chants of "Jai Mata Di," filling the atmosphere with devotion.
Afterward, the Deputy Chief Minister offered prayers at the Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple and prayed to Mata Rani for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the people of the state. He reiterated the state government's commitment to the overall development of this prominent center of faith.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the national and international importance of the Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple, work is being done at a cost of approximately Rs. 250 crore for its grand construction and overall development. Providing modern facilities, well-organized arrangements, and a divine darshan experience to the devotees is a priority for the government. Along with this, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen the infrastructure, expand facilities, and promote religious tourism.
