Deputy Chief Minister inaugurates Shiv Rudra Petrol Pump in Dilwan
Una, February 5: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Thursday inaugurated the newly established Shiv Rudra petrol pump in Dilwan, Amb sub-division, courtesy of Indian Oil. On this occasion, he congratulated the petrol pump manager, Praveen Sharma, and his family, calling it an important facility for the area.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Praveen Sharma is primarily a social worker and a spiritually inclined person. His efforts have provided an essential facility to the people of the area. He appreciated his contribution to the cooperative and social sectors, saying that such efforts accelerate local employment generation and development.
**Rs. 130 crore to give new impetus to Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple development
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the entire state has deep faith in Mata Shri Chintpurni. Keeping in mind the facilities for devotees and the overall development of this major center of faith, approximately Rs. 130 crore has been allocated in the first phase for the construction of a grand temple building, beautification of the complex, and expansion of basic facilities.
He informed that Rs. 75 crore has been provided by the state government, while the remaining amount has been received through the Swadesh Darshan scheme.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that when grand development is possible at religious sites like Mahakal, Vaishno Devi, and Vrindavan in the country, there is no justification for delaying the development of Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple. He urged local MLA Sudarshan Bablu to ensure the timely and complete utilization of the sanctioned amount with the blessings of Mata Rani, and to accelerate the development works by coordinating with all stakeholders.
**Rs. 125 crore being spent on irrigation and drinking water schemes
The Deputy Chief Minister informed that approximately Rs. 125 crore is being spent on irrigation and drinking water schemes in the Shri Chintpurni assembly constituency. He reiterated that there is no shortage of funds for development works. On the demand of the local MLA, an announcement was also made to provide Rs. 1 crore for the repair works of various water supply schemes in the area.
He said that the goal of 'water to every home, every field' is being pursued on a mission mode basis in Una district. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that a ?13 crore project for a permanent solution to the drinking water problem in the Shri Chintpurni temple area and the surrounding 16 panchayats has been completed, which will end the water crisis in the region.
**MLA Highlights Development Achievements**
On this occasion, MLA Sudarshan Bablu praised Praveen Sharma's entrepreneurial, social, and spiritual contributions. He also highlighted his notable contributions as the president of the renowned Sadashiv Temple Committee in Una and as a close associate of the famous Baba Deranand of North India.
The MLA urged the Deputy Chief Minister to inaugurate the ?13 crore Shri Chintpurni drinking water scheme soon, stating that work on many development schemes of the Water Resources Department is progressing rapidly in the area. He informed that more than 70 percent of the work on these schemes has been completed, and the remaining work will be completed and dedicated to the public in the next six months.

Praveen Sharma, the manager of the petrol pump, welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister and all the guests, saying that this effort was made with a spirit of service and public welfare. He said that this facility has been dedicated to the people of the area with the blessings of Mata Rani and Bhole Baba. On this occasion, his mother Kamala Devi, wife Sonu Sharma, brothers Ashok Sharma, Ashwini Sharma, Vivek Sharma, and other family members also expressed their gratitude to the guests.
