SAS Nagar, December 31:- The President of Residents Welfare Association (House Number 200 to 787) Phase-7, Mr. Prahlad Singh, has written a letter to the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation and filed objections regarding ward delimitation.
Giving information in this regard, the General Secretary of the Association, Mr. P.R. Mann, said that in the letter it has been stated that they all are residents of Ward No. 12, which has been made Ward No. 11 in the new ward delimitation and has been reserved for a female member.
In the letter, it has been said that before the current term, during the municipal council elections, this was women's Ward 19 and Mrs. Harvinder Kaur Lang was the councilor from here. In the letter, it has been said that this ward has been made a women's ward again after skipping one election, whereas the voters of this ward are the same.
In the letter, it has been said that this is injustice to the voters of our ward. In the letter, a demand has been made to make this ward a general ward.
