DelhiMoga Express train to go up to Ferozepur Cantt
Chandigarh- In a major step for railway connectivity in Punjab, Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu has announced that 22485 Delhi-Moga Express has now been extended up to Ferozepur Cantt.
As per the revised schedule, this train will depart from Delhi, reach Moga via Jakhal and Ludhiana at 1:57 PM, from where it will proceed to Ferozepur Cantt at 01:59 PM. The train is scheduled to reach Ferozepur Cantt at 3:00 PM. On the return journey, the train will depart from Ferozepur Cantt at 03:35 PM and reach Delhi at 11:35 PM.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for their support and commitment to strengthen rail infrastructure in Punjab.
Bittu said, “The long-pending demand of the people of Ferozepur and adjoining areas has finally been fulfilled. This will not only benefit the passengers but will also give a big boost to trade and connectivity in the region.”
The extension of the Delhi-Moga Express to Ferozepur is expected to bring more convenience to passengers and improve economic activities in north-west Punjab. The residents of the area welcomed the move and termed it a much-needed step to increase accessibility and business opportunities in the region.
