Delhi Excise Scam Case Arvind Kejriwal acquitted in ED summons case
New Delhi:- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been granted relief by the Rouse Avenue Court in the case of non-compliance with the summons of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The court acquitted Kejriwal of the charge of non-compliance with the summons of the ED in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam.
Additional Judicial Magistrate First Class Paras Dalal issued the order acquitting Kejriwal. In fact, before Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed two complaints in the court against Kejriwal for not appearing in response to the summons issued for questioning.
The ED alleged that Kejriwal deliberately ignored repeated summons to join the investigation. These complaints were filed against Kejriwal before his arrest. The ED has registered two complaints against Kejriwal.
