DDA seeks applications from state governments for 2BHK flats in Karkardooma
Chandigarh, February 6:- The Delhi Development Authority has authorized applications from state governments for bulk allotment of residential flats under its DDA Towering Heights, Karkardooma Housing Scheme-2026. These residential units located in various towers of RH-02 Block, Karkardooma can be used as staff quarters, official accommodation or long-term accommodation of government employees.
A letter in this regard has been received from the DDA Principal Commissioner to Haryana Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi.
According to the letter, 107 two-bedroom (2-BHK) flats will be allotted in bulk by the DDA. These flats, which are currently under construction, have been specifically identified for institutions of the Central and State Governments.
The scheme is open to various ministries of the Central Government and departments of the State Governments, Government Universities, Civil Sector, Government Organisations. Interested institutions will have to apply with the approval and authority of the competent authority and clearly indicate the number of flats required.
The DDA has clarified that the allotment under the bulk category will be done on first come, first served basis. Priority will be decided as per the date and time of receipt of complete and eligible applications, which will depend on the availability of flats and fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
The price of 2-BHK flats ranges from Rs 1.79 crore to Rs 2.32 crore and their plinth area ranges from 142 sq m to 187 sq m. The residential complexes will have modern amenities like parking facilities, lifts, large balconies, community centres and open green areas.
It has been informed that the construction work of the flats has been completed by more than 90 percent. At the time of distribution, the institutions will have to deposit 75 percent of the total assessed value. The possession of the flats is expected by July 2026.
