DC Dr Anand Kumar Sharma Reviews Preparations for Chief Ministers Program

Praveen Walia, Karnal, April 18 – In view of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini's proposed visit to Karnal on April 19, DC Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma took stock of the preparations. During this visit, he sought details regarding the arrangements and issued necessary directives.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini is visiting Karnal on April 19. During this visit, the Chief Minister will participate in a special religious assembly (*Dharmasabha*) organized at the Shri Atma Manohar Jain Aradhana Mandir in Karnal on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. While there, the DC inspected the venue and the helipad to assess the arrangements and issued essential instructions.
During the inspection, the DC issued directives to officials regarding security, parking, and the proper conduct of the event. He instructed officials from the Police Department to ensure robust security arrangements and to manage traffic flow smoothly. Officials from the Electricity Corporation were directed to ensure adequate power supply at the venue. Additionally, concerned officials were instructed to make proper arrangements for basic amenities such as drinking water, restrooms, seating arrangements, etc. He emphasized that no employee or official should show any laxity during the Chief Minister's visit, and that everyone must discharge their duties with utmost diligence.
Present on this occasion were SP Narendra Bijarniya, ADC Dr. Rahul Raiya, SDM Karnal Devender Sharma, DSP Karnal Sandeep Kumar, DSP Indri Satish Gautam, BDPO Karnal Monika Singh, along with officials from various other departments.

While reviewing the preparations for Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini's arrival in Karnal, DC Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma—accompanied by SP Narendra Bijarniya, ADC Dr. Rahul Raiya, SDM Karnal Devender Sharma, and other officials—paid their respects at the Shri Atma Manohar Jain Mandir and offered a *Shriphal* (coconut). During this visit, Jain Muni Piyush Kumar Ji tied *Raksha Sutras* (protective threads) on the wrists of the officials.
