Cultural Wing Meeting Important Activities for the Next Months
Jalandhar:- After serious discussions in the grand meeting of the Cultural Wing of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, a firm commitment was taken to successfully complete the activities and tasks to be taken for the next period. The meeting began with Gurmeet Singh, General Secretary of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, paying homage to the historical events and heroes related to the freedom struggle of the month of June on behalf of the meeting.
Amolak Singh, Convener of the Cultural Wing of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, emphasized on the various subjects, subjects and art forms of the activities to be held in the coming months to gain public support for making the martyrdom centenary campaign of the Babbar Akali movement, an invaluable work of independence history, a valuable work. In today's meeting, it was decided to convene a special meeting of freedom fighters associated with the Babbar Akali movement on Saturday, June 27 at 11 am at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
In the coming months, efforts will be made to take the committee's delegation/convoy to the villages of the Babbars as much as possible. The peak of the activities in the coming months to get light from Babbar history will be the 'Mela Ghadri Babayan Da' on November 1, dedicated to the martyrdom centenary. In today's meeting, it was also decided that the student awareness camp will be held at the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall on August 28, 29, 30. Its topics and speakers etc. will be decided in the Board of Trust meeting to be held on July 4. Similarly, in the month of September, there will be a discussion on giving Shaheed Bhagat Singh's ideology and his unique symbol of revolution.
Continuous discussions, book introduction and brainstorming, song-music, theatre, painting and photo art, children's meetings, reaching out to educational institutions and inviting them to the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall, film shows and especially social media and activities in the theatre built in the hall will be focused on. In the discussions, Ranjit Singh Aulakh, Surinder Kumari Kochhar, Dr. Sailesh, Prof. Tejinder Virli, Harmesh Malri, Suwaran Singh Virk, Kesar, Amrik Singh, Artist Inderjit Jalandhar, Master Muni Lal, Kishore Kumar, Buta Singh Mahmudpur, Deep Dilbar shared their valuable ideas and suggestions.
The main and most important aspect of the discussion was that there is a need to pay special attention to creating a permanent audience for historical, book discussions, discussions, songs, films and stage activities in the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. Kulwant Singh Sandhu, President of the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, expressed happiness and said that the meeting of the cultural wing received a great response and valuable suggestions came forward, which gives hope for a bright future in the activities.
