Nawanshahr:- CPI(ML) New Democracy and Kirti Kisan Union launched a campaign in villages to boycott the Block Samiti and Zilla Parishad elections in protest against breaking of Aur block, and reached out to about two dozen villages.
Under this campaign, people of Aur, Udapar, Garh Padhana, Garcha, Bahadur Pur, Bajid Pur, Dudhala, Tajpur-Khoje, Garhi Bharti, Sahlon, Skoh Pur and Mahal Khurd, Phambar, Khadkuwal, Kahlon, Bharta Khurd, Bharta Kalan, Dariya Pur, Kangan, Mehrampur, Mall Pur, Mahal Khurd etc. were reached out to.
The team called on the people to boycott the elections together. This team was led by party leader Daljit Singh Advocate. They were accompanied by Narinder Singh Urapar, Kirti Kisan Union state committee members Bhupinder Singh Waraich, Surinder Singh Mehrampur, Baldev Singh, Karnail Singh, Mohan Singh and Charan Singh.
