Corruption in the Revenue Department The Great Khali
Shimla/Hoshiarpur: Famous WWE wrestler 'The Great Khali' alias Dalip Singh Rana, who hails from Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, has made serious allegations against the Revenue Department regarding the land dispute related to Paonta Sahib. In a press conference in Shimla, he demanded a change of the investigation committee and an investigation into the property of the concerned Tehsildar. The Great Khali alleged that there is widespread corruption in the Paonta Sahib Revenue Department.
The officials are considering themselves above the Constitution. He claimed that not only him, but about 100 other people have also been wrongfully evicted from their ancestral land. Khali claimed that his father had purchased about 16 bighas of land in the Surajpur area of ??Paonta Sahib. Now they have been evicted from the same land by preparing wrong documents. The land has also been registered. They alleged that the Tehsildar posted there took this action by ignoring the rules.
Khali said that along with him, other people were also evicted from the land by saying that this land does not belong to them. Khali claimed that so far about 100 people have fallen victim to this alleged scam and several common parks have been sold in Paonta Sahib. He has earlier held two press conferences in Nahan and Paonta Sahib regarding this matter. Khali said that after giving a complaint to the DC, an investigation committee was formed, but he alleges that this committee is not investigating in an impartial manner. He reiterated his demand from the government to change the investigation committee.
