Constitution Day was celebrated at Government College Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur:- At Government College, Hoshiarpur, under the leadership of the Principal of the college, Dr. Gagandeep Cheema, in collaboration with Head Ribbon Club President Vijay Kumar and NSS Program Officer Ranjit Kumar, seminars, poster making and Sanhu Chuk programs were organized to celebrate “Constitution Day”. 
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Gagandeep Cheema, while giving information about the constitution of the country written under the leadership of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, said that it was written and prepared on 26 November 1949, but it was implemented in the country on 26 January 1950. He gave a brief introduction about the constitution of our country and shed light on its importance.
Red Ribbon Club in-charge Vijay Kumar said that this day is also celebrated as “National Law Day” because in it, a law has been made for everyone so that every human being can get his right and he can get his place in the society with dignity. On this occasion, giving brief information about the laws made especially related to women, he encouraged everyone to always be ready to get their right so that no one can oppress women. 
He said that they also get equal rights like men, they are not less than men in anything, they should also live in the society like men. NMS Program Officer Ranjit Kumar administered the oath to the students to fulfill their duty towards the Constitution honestly. 
Assistant Professor Kulwinder Kaur, Tajinder Kaur and Arun Kumar were also present on this occasion. A large number of students attended this program.
