Una, March 14 (Paigam-E-Jagat):— It is absolutely essential to connect children with religious and cultural values ??alongside their formal education, so that students may become acquainted with their own culture, traditions, and heritage. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated this while presiding over the 5th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Prof. Simmi Agnihotri Government Degree College, Haroli. On this occasion, he honored the college's meritorious students for their academic achievements and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
Addressing the students, the Deputy Chief Minister urged them to set specific goals in their lives and to work continuously and diligently while maintaining a sharp focus on those objectives. He emphasized that one can achieve their set goals in life only through discipline, the judicious use of time, and persistent effort during their student years. Furthermore, he requested the teachers to organize periodic educational excursions for the students to temples and other historical and cultural sites, thereby providing them with an opportunity to understand their cultural roots.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri affirmed that the state government is fully committed to the holistic development of the region. He stated that, working together, they are making continuous efforts to transform the Haroli Assembly constituency into a developed, educated, and prosperous region for the benefit of the coming generation; moreover, the pace of development will be further accelerated in the future.
He noted that, in recent times, students from the Haroli constituency—having received their education from the institutions established within Haroli—have set new benchmarks of excellence and have brought glory to the region at the national level, a matter of immense pride for the entire area. He highlighted that several young women who completed their nursing studies in Badheda are currently rendering their services at prestigious medical institutions across the country. Similarly, young men who pursued legal studies are today bringing honor to Haroli by serving as judges and advocates.
The Deputy Chief Minister concluded by stating that all these achievements serve as irrefutable proof that significant positive transformations have taken place in the education sector within Haroli—developments that not only signal a bright future for the region but also stand as a source of great pride for the entire community. Furthermore, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that work is currently underway on various drinking water schemes worth approximately ?1,000 crore within the Haroli Assembly constituency. The completion of these schemes will further strengthen the drinking water supply in the region and ensure that residents have access to improved amenities.
*CCTV Cameras Being Installed to Strengthen Security Arrangements*
The Deputy Chief Minister informed that, with the objective of further bolstering public safety in the Haroli Assembly constituency, CCTV cameras are being installed at various key locations. As part of this initiative, a comprehensive network of CCTV cameras is being established across the entire region to ensure that, in the event of any untoward incident, the perpetrators can be swiftly identified and appropriate legal action can be initiated. He added that the installation of these CCTV cameras would significantly reinforce the security infrastructure within the area.

The Deputy Chief Minister announced a cash incentive of ?51,000 for the students in appreciation of the vibrant cultural program they presented. Additionally, he announced a grant of ?12 lakh for the library at Haroli College, aiming to provide students with better study resources and give further impetus to their academic progress.
