Congress Leader Khileri Joins BJP Former MP Duggal Facilitates His Induction

Ratia, April 15: In the village of Ratakhera within the subdivision, Congress leader Subhash Khileri, along with his supporters, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). During the event, former MP Sunita Duggal formally inducted Subhash Khileri into the party by draping a ceremonial sash over him. It is reported that Subhash Khileri had been expressing his desire to join the BJP for nearly a year, and he has now officially left the Congress party to join the BJP.
Regarding the Assam elections, former MP Sunita Duggal asserted that the BJP is poised to form the government in Assam for the third consecutive time. While addressing party workers, former MP Sunita Duggal also took sharp digs at the former MLA of Ratia.
Claiming a BJP victory in the Assam elections, she stated that the political atmosphere there is overwhelmingly in the party's favor, and the party is set to form the government for the third consecutive term. Additionally, she offered her views on local political issues and the wheat procurement system. Speaking on the Assam Assembly elections, Sunita Duggal remarked that a strong sentiment in favor of the BJP prevails across the state.
She asserted that public support lies with the party due to its developmental initiatives and pro-people policies, making the formation of a government for the third time a certainty. Meanwhile, she expressed her displeasure regarding the former MLA of Ratia. Speaking on the new regulations implemented for wheat procurement—including the introduction of biometric verification—the former MP noted that it is natural for certain difficulties to arise during the initial stages of any new scheme.
She gave assurances that these regulations have been formulated with the best interests of the farmers in mind, and that the administration is actively working to streamline the entire process. She affirmed that the government would not allow farmers to face any undue hardship, and should any issues arise, they would be resolved immediately.
Currently, the administration is maintaining constant vigilance over the arrangements at the *mandis* (grain markets) to ensure that the wheat procurement process proceeds smoothly and without interruption. Present on this occasion were BJP District President Praveen Joda, Mandal President Ankit Singla, Satpal Sethi, Vigyan Sagar Baghla, and others.
