Congress High Command Appoints 27 District Presidents of Punjab Congress Committee

Jaito, November 12: The All India Congress Committee High Command has appointed presidents for 27 District Congress Committees of Punjab. The names of presidents for Mansa and Malerkotla districts will be announced later. These appointments were announced today. Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President, MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring played a key role in these appointments. The aim of these appointments is to bring about a major reshuffle in the party organisation before the 2027 assembly elections.

According to a press release issued by KC Venugopal today, the district president for Amritsar Rural is Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala, Amritsar Urban Saurabh Madan, Barnala Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillon, Bathinda Rural Pritam Singh Kotbhai, Bathinda Urban Rajan Garg, Faridkot Navdeep Singh Brar, Fatehgarh Sahib Surinder Singh, Fazilka Harpreet Singh Sidhu, Ferozepur Kuldeep Singh Zira, Gurdaspur Barindermeet Singh Pehra, Hoshiarpur Daljit Singh, Jalandhar Urban Rajinder Beri, Jalandhar Rural Hardev Singh, Kapurthala Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Khanna Lakhvir Singh Lakha, Ludhiana Rural Major Singh Mullanpur, Ludhiana Urban Sanjeev Talwar, Moga Hari Singh Khaii, Mohali Kamal Kishore Sharma, Muktsar Subhdeep Singh Bitta, Pathankot Panna Lal Bhatia, Patiala Rural Gursharan Kaur Randhawa, Patiala Urban Naresh Kumar Duggal, Ropar Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Sangrur Jagdev Singh Jagga, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ajay Kumar, and Rajveer Singh Bhullar have been appointed as the president of Tarn Taran District.
