Nawanshahr: November 13:- The 33rd death anniversary of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) New Democracy leader Shaheed Master Gian Singh Sangha will be celebrated on November 20 at his village Sahabpur. CPI (ML) New Democracy will hold a political conference on this occasion.
Giving this information, party leader Kulwinder Singh Waraich said that meetings are being held in preparation for this, posters have been put up, leaflets are being distributed and funds are being collected. He further said that party leaders Comrade Ajmer Singh Samra, Comrade Daljit Singh Advocate and other leaders will address this conference. After the flag hoisting ceremony at the martyrs' memorial, the conference will start at 11 am sharp.
This time, the Comrade Gian Singh Sangha Memorial Award will be given to Bikar Singh Hathoa, the leader of the Land Acquisition Struggle Committee. He said that Bikar Singh Hathoa is the leader of the Land Acquisition Struggle Committee who had to go to jail while struggling.
He said that on this occasion, plays and choreographies will also be performed by the drama team.
He said that Shaheed Master Gian Singh Sangha was a great leader of farmers and laborers who was martyred by Khalistani terrorists in village Soita on 20 November 1992. He also appealed to the people to come to this conference in large numbers. Daljit Singh Advocate, Kamaljit Sanawa and Avtar Singh Tari were also present with him on this occasion.
