College organizes extension lecture on womens health

Ratia November 12- An extension lecture was organized by the Women’s Cell at Khalsa Tri-Centenary Government Post Graduate College, Ratia. Dr. Shanpreet Kaur of Civil Hospital, Ratia participated as the chief speaker.
In her address, she provided detailed guidance to the students on the importance of hygiene, precautions during menstruation and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Shanpreet said that personal hygiene is not only essential for health but also helps in maintaining self-confidence and mental balance. She advised to adopt proper hygiene practices and eat a balanced diet during menstruation.
College Principal Dr. Sumitra Sangwan while lauding the program said that such awareness lectures increase health awareness among the students and motivate them to become empowered and aware citizens.
At this event, Dr. Varinder Kumar said that the aim of the women's cell is to empower the girl students not only academically but also in their social and personal lives. He further said that being conscious about cleanliness and health is the hallmark of a civilized society. Dr. Ajit Kumar played a significant role in the stage management of the program. All the staff members and students of the college participated in the program enthusiastically.
