CMs OSD Sukhveer Singh Holds Meeting with Sarpanches of Dhuri Constituency

Dhuri, February 21:- Bhagwant Singh Mann’s OSD Sukhveer Singh today held a meeting with the village sarpanches of the Dhuri constituency at the Chief Minister Assistance Centre.
During the meeting, he sought feedback from the sarpanches regarding ongoing development works in their respective villages and invited suggestions for new projects to be initiated. He emphasized that rural development remains the government’s top priority and that micro-level planning is being adopted to strengthen basic infrastructure in every village.
Sukhveer Singh reviewed progress on projects such as construction of streets and drains, installation of interlocking tiles and streetlights, cleaning and beautification of village ponds, wet and dry waste management, development of gyms and playgrounds, establishment of libraries for youth, construction of community halls, installation of CCTV cameras, and proper drainage systems. Detailed feedback was obtained from the sarpanches on both ongoing and completed works.
He stated that since the needs and priorities of each village differ, the government is maintaining continuous coordination with local representatives while preparing development plans. Suggestions put forward by the sarpanches will be promptly forwarded to the concerned departments to ensure timely approval and implementation.
The OSD further informed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann reviews daily reports on development works in the Dhuri constituency and personally monitors the progress. He asserted that there will be no compromise on quality and that clear instructions have been issued to officials to complete projects within stipulated timelines.
During the meeting, the sarpanches shared updates about development activities in their villages and presented proposals for upcoming works.
Among those present were ADC Sukhchain Singh, Chief Minister’s Field Officer Arvind Kumar, Chairman of Market Committee Dhuri Rajwant Singh Ghulli, Wakf Board member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, Zila Parishad member Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, BDPO Sukhwinder Singh, Ramandeep Singh, and a large number of sarpanches and panches from various villages of the Dhuri constituency.
