CM Sukhus Apna Vidyalaya Program Progressing in Mission Mode in Una
Una, January 24: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's visionary initiative, 'Apna Vidyalaya - Himachal School Adoption Program,' is being effectively implemented in mission mode in Una district. With the continuous monitoring of Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal and the active participation of administrative officers, the academic environment in government schools has not only been strengthened, but students are also developing confidence, a sense of purpose, and strong motivation to excel.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that the core objective of this program is to create a qualitative and inspirational academic environment in government schools through the active participation and regular interaction of officials. This aims to provide guidance and motivation to students, facilitate meaningful exchange of knowledge, ensure timely resolution of school-related problems, and accelerate the development of necessary facilities.
He instructed the officers to dedicate regular time to their adopted schools and maintain continuous engagement with the students.
**83 Government Schools Adopted in the First Phase**
Jatin Lal informed that under the 'Apna Vidyalaya - Himachal School Adoption Program,' 83 government schools have been included in the first phase in Una district. These schools have been adopted by various administrative officers.
It is noteworthy that the Deputy Commissioner of Una himself has adopted four government schools in the district, including Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) Una, Government Senior Secondary School Haroli, Government Senior Secondary School Thanakalan, Bangana, and Government Senior Secondary School Dhusara, Amb. He regularly visits these schools to interact with the students and also periodically inspects other adopted schools to gather feedback.
Similarly, the Superintendent of Police Una, ADC, ASP, SDM, Tehsildar, BDO, DSP, and other administrative and departmental officers are also regularly visiting their respective adopted schools to guide the students.
**Support provided from career guidance to personality development
In the adopted schools, officers are interacting with students on topics such as career guidance, personality development, preparation for competitive exams, information on administrative procedures, developing reading and writing habits, and cultivating a positive outlook on life, based on their expertise. Along with this, libraries, ICT facilities, sports activities, and other basic resources are also being strengthened according to the needs of the schools.

It is noteworthy that Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has been regularly visiting the adopted schools and spending time with the students. He inspires the children to set big goals, move forward with confidence, and work hard consistently. On one occasion, he even shared a mid-day meal with the girl students. This initiative has become a powerful means of strengthening emotional connection and developing a direct and cordial relationship between the students and the administration.
