Clash between BJP and Congress MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly

Srinagar:- Protests were held in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Friday over the death of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. National Conference leaders entered the House carrying Khamenei's picture and raised slogans in support. They also waved posters of Khamenei.
Meanwhile, videos of a scuffle between Congress and BJP leaders in the House surfaced. However, the clash took place over comments made by BJP leaders about Rahul Gandhi. Congress MLA Irfan Hafiz was raising slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In response, BJP MLA Yudhveer Sethi said, "Rahul Gandhi is Pappu." This led to a clash between the two leaders. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said, "This war was imposed on Iran. Humanity has been murdered."
National Conference MLA Tanveer Sadiq said, "We stand with Iran. Our party and the Jammu and Kashmir government stand with them. Just as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a civil society gathering last time. Similarly, we all stand here today."
We believe that no country has the right to attack another country in the way Khamenei was killed. I believe that the top leadership of the country should condemn it. We support the people of Iran.
