Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 11: Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain today visited Aam Aadmi Clinic in Phase 1 of the city and reviewed the health facilities being provided to the people. Dr. Jain interacted with the patients who visited the clinic and also took suggestions from them for further improvement in the clinic. He visited various rooms of the clinic and also inspected OPD services, free medicines and check-ups, cleanliness, medical equipment.
The Civil Surgeon said that the purpose of his visit was to inspect the functioning of Aam Aadmi Clinic and the health facilities being provided to the people.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics opened at various places in the district are proving to be a boon for the people in terms of providing quality and proper health facilities. He said that all the facilities like examination, treatment and distribution of medicines in Aam Aadmi clinics are absolutely free and various medical tests are also being done.
Pregnant women are also being provided health services in the clinics. He instructed the health officials that the patients coming to Aam Aadmi clinics should not face any kind of problem and priority should be given to elderly patients. District Vaccination Officer Dr. Girish Dogra was also present on the occasion.
