Patiala 22nd December:- In order to provide better health facilities to the people and to inspect the health facilities being provided to the patients in government hospitals, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaswinder Singh conducted a surprise check of CHC Model Town. During the check, he saw the attendance register of the staff. He obtained information about the treatment done by the patients admitted in the hospital.
He instructed the staff that no negligence should be done in the treatment of pregnant women. He also inspected the emergency, male-female ward, labor room, vaccination room and operation theater of CHC. He also checked the expiry date of the medicines kept for use in emergencies. He told the concerned in-charge that there should be no shortage of medicines in emergencies.
On this occasion, he held a meeting with all the medical officers and staff and issued instructions to them not to resort to any negligence in the treatment of patients, to ensure that the patients' lab tests and medicines are given in the government hospital itself, to restrict the time during duty and to take special care of cleanliness in the hospital.
On this occasion, he was also assured by Senior Medical Officer Dr. Lavkesh Kumar of providing better health facilities to the people.
