Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr Sanjay Kamra visited the dengue affected area

Patiala 10 November- Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Sanjay Kamra inspected the anti-dengue activities being carried out by the health department teams in Dharamkot village of Sanaur, a dengue affected area. Senior Medical Officer Dr. Jaideep Bhatia also gave information about the work done by the health teams. On this occasion, the staff of the Municipal Committee Sanaur were also present with him, who were given instructions to clean and fog the blocked drains.
Patients of the dengue affected area were also interacted with. On this occasion, the health department team inspected 107 houses and on this occasion, larvae were found at 1 place, which was destroyed on the spot. Dr. Sanjay Kamra informed that the dengue situation is improving but still mosquito repellent like All Out should be used to prevent mosquito bites.
He also advised that full-sleeved clothes covering the body should be worn. On this occasion, the Civil Surgeon also inspected the Aam Aadmi Clinic Sanaur. He inspected the medicines, equipment and store on this occasion. The Medical Officer of the Aam Aadmi Clinic said that medicines are given to the patients in the OPD. Tests are also done free of cost in the Aam Aadmi Clinic.
No large number of fever or suspected dengue patients are being reported in the OPD. District Epidemiologist Dr. Sumit Singh inspected the survey done by the teams and the area. Supervisors, workers and ASHA workers of the concerned area were present on this occasion.
