Patiala December 17:- To provide quality health facilities to the people and to review the health facilities being provided to the patients in government hospitals, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sanjay Goyal visited CHC Tripri. During the visit, he first checked the attendance of the staff. He interacted with the patients who came for treatment of various diseases and sought information from the patients about the treatment being done in the hospital.
He directed the staff to ensure that no patient is harmed, especially in the treatment of pregnant women. He also inspected the emergency, dengue ward, male female ward, labor room etc. of CHC. During the visit to the wards, he inquired about the condition of the admitted patients and also reviewed the dialysis services being provided in the hospital.
He also checked the expiry date of the medicines kept for emergency use. He told the concerned in-charge that there should be no shortage of medicines in emergency. On this occasion, he held a meeting with all the medical officers and staff and asked them not to resort to any negligence in the treatment of patients, to ensure that the patients' lab tests and medicines are given in the government hospital itself.
He also issued instructions to restrict the time during duty and to take special care of cleanliness in the hospital. On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Monica Sood also assured them of providing better health facilities to the people.
