City Magistrate Himanshu Chauhan visits Summer Camp for inspection encourages children
Hansi: City Magistrate Himanshu Chauhan visited the summer camp organized by the District Child Welfare Council, Hansi, on Tuesday for an inspection. During this visit, he interacted with the participating children, observed their various activities, and spoke with them about their experiences.
During the inspection, Himanshu Chauhan stated that summer camps are extremely important for the holistic development of children. Such camps provide children with opportunities to learn about art, culture, sports, moral values, and social behavior alongside education. He emphasized that in today’s digital age, connecting children with creative activities is a necessity of the time, which helps in developing their self-confidence, leadership abilities, and positive thinking.
Addressing the children, he said that discipline, hard work, and a spirit of continuous learning are essential to achieve success in life. Every child possesses a unique talent; the only need is to identify and nurture it. He encouraged the children to limit their use of mobile phones and social media and instead devote more time to sports, book reading, and creative pursuits.
The City Magistrate appreciated the various activities and arrangements provided to the children at the camp, calling the efforts of the District Child Welfare Council in the interest of children commendable. He also congratulated the trainers and officials working at the camp for playing a vital role in shaping the bright future of the children. On this occasion, he also planted a sapling at Bal Bhawan.
District Child Welfare Officer Omprakash welcomed the chief guest and provided detailed information about the activities organized at the camp. He mentioned that the summer camp is being conducted at Bal Bhawan from June 1 to June 30, where children are being trained in painting, dance, music, mehndi, sewing and embroidery, sports, personality development, moral education, and other creative activities.
At the end of the program, the children expressed their gratitude to the chief guest and described his guidance as inspiring. Program Officer Monika, Dharambir, Amarjit, Karmbir Chopra, Geeta, Manisha, Nirmal, Tinku, and other staff members were present on this occasion.
