CIK raids woman doctors house in Anantnag

Srinagar: Counter Intelligence Kashmir on Sunday raided and searched the residence of a doctor in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district in connection with a 'white collar terror module'. Officials said that a CIK team conducted raids in Malknag of Anantnag at midnight. During this, the staff came to know that a woman doctor belonging to Haryana was staying in this house as a tenant. The team has seized a mobile for forensic examination.
Meanwhile, the police have detained dry fruit trader Bilal Ahmed Wani and his son Jasir Bilal for questioning in connection with the terror module case. According to officials, Bilal tried to set himself on fire in Qazikund area. Bilal Ahmed was taken to GMC for treatment, where his condition is now said to be stable. Bilal's son is still in the custody of the CIK. Wani is the neighbour of Dr. Muzaffar Rather, the main accused in the 'White Collar Terror Module' case. Muzaffar is believed to be currently in Afghanistan. The police had arrested Muzaffar's brother Dr. Adil Rather on November 6 from Saharanpur in UP.
