Ambala, March 3:- As part of a special operation against drugs, Ambala Police got a major breakthrough when a team of CIA-1 staff, acting on a tip-off, arrested an accused with 45 grams heroin in Mahesh Nagar police station area. According to the information released by the police, the accused has been identified as Tushar, a resident of Dayal Bagh, near Hanuman Mandir, Ambala Cantonment. The network will be exposed during the remand.
CIA-1 in-charge Inspector Harjinder Singh said that the team was patrolling the area to prevent crime and drug smuggling. On receiving the information, they acted swiftly and arrested the accused at Tangri Dam in Mahesh Nagar. The accused has been produced before the honorable court and taken on one-day police remand. During remand, other accused involved in this network will be identified.
