Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini offered prayers on Lord Vishwakarma Diwas

Chandigarh, October 23 – Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini today offered prayers to Lord Vishwakarma at his residence Sant Kabir Kutir on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Diwas. The Chief Minister paid homage to Lord Vishwakarma by offering flowers to his photo. State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Mohanlal Badoli was also present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Saini extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Diwas and said that Lord Vishwakarma is the symbol of creation, hard work and skill. He showed the society the path of progress through craftsmanship, construction and expertise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister wished the craftsmen and artisans for knowledge, peace and prosperity in their lives.
The Chief Minister said that the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is an important step towards empowering the skills of traditional artisans and handlooms. Taking this spirit forward, the Haryana Government has also implemented several such schemes in the state through which artisans, technicians and self-employed people are being provided with training, financial assistance and modern equipment. Shri Naib Singh Saini also extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the citizens of the state on the auspicious occasion of Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
