Chhattisgarh Encounter between soldiers and Naxalites

Jagdalpur:- An encounter has been going on between Naxalites and police in the forests of Keshkutul in Bhairamgarh area bordering Dantewada and Bijapur since morning. Sources say that several Maoists have been killed in this encounter. However, there has been no official confirmation of the encounter.
It is being told that the team left Dantewada this morning, where an encounter took place between soldiers and Naxalites in Keshkutul in Bhairamgarh on the Bijapur border. Intermittent firing is taking place from both sides. So far, no casualty has been reported.
Amidst the fast-paced anti-Naxal operations in Bastar, after the battalion created a conducive environment for the surrender of several Naxalites including Barse Dewa, Paparao and Kesa, joint operations have been intensified in districts like Sukma, Bijapur and Dantewada. Recently, there was a lot of talk about the surrender of Paparao, Kesa, Chetu along with Dewa, after which Chetu surrendered in Jagdalpur along with his 10 companions.
Even after this, the security agencies maintained a conducive environment in the forests for the surrender of all the Naxalites including Dewa. Under this, no action or activities of any kind were taken in the forests. But despite the conducive environment for 15 days, when there was no response from the battalion regarding the surrender and after the contact with the battalion regarding the surrender was lost, the action was intensified once again on the instructions of the agencies.
