Chaos Erupts Over Gas Cylinders in Tahliwal Crowd Swarms Vehicle After Tire Punctures
Haroli/Una, March 21 (Rajveer Chopra):— In the Tahliwal region, the current shortage of gas cylinders is becoming a grave concern for the general public. The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that the moment a vehicle loaded with gas cylinders enters the town, people chase after it, scrambling to secure a cylinder by any means necessary.
A similar scene unfolded on Saturday along the Amrali Road. People repeatedly shouted to signal the gas delivery vehicle to stop, but the driver continued without halting. However, near the Rest House, the vehicle's tire suddenly went flat, forcing it to come to a standstill.
The moment the vehicle stopped, a massive crowd of people eager to collect cylinders gathered at the spot. People swarmed around the vehicle in a completely disorderly manner, triggering a chaotic scramble to obtain a cylinder. The situation became so chaotic that people paid no heed to which specific area their gas connections were registered under.
Whether residents were from Mehatpur or Santoshgarh, everyone was single-mindedly focused on somehow securing a cylinder. Amidst this frenzy, an atmosphere of utter chaos prevailed, and the entire system of distribution completely broke down.
Local residents attribute this situation to the lack of a smooth and efficient gas supply mechanism in the region. They have urged the administration to streamline the gas distribution system to ensure that the public is no longer subjected to such hardships.
