Chairman and Vice Chairman of Block Samiti Dhuri Elected
Dhuri, 5 February:- The election for the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Block Samiti Dhuri was conducted today by the members of the Block Samiti. During the process, the members unanimously elected Ranjodh Singh from village Kanjhla as the Chairman of Block Samiti Dhuri and Manpreet Kaur from village Dhaddogal as the Vice Chairperson.
During the election process, the Block Samiti members congratulated the newly elected Chairman and Vice Chairperson and assured them of full cooperation in working together for the development of villages falling under the Block Samiti area.
After being elected Chairman, Ranjodh Singh thanked the Block Samiti members and said that he would fulfill the trust placed in him with complete dedication and honesty. He stated that collective efforts would be made to ensure the overall development of all villages under Block Samiti Dhuri and that people’s issues would be resolved on a priority basis.
On this occasion, Ranjodh Singh also thanked the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, and the entire leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party, stating that the party has given due respect and recognition to its old and dedicated volunteers. He added that he has been associated with the party as a volunteer since 2012 and has also led the Youth Wing at the block level. He said he would work with full commitment to take the policies of the party and the pro-people schemes of the Punjab government to the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, the newly elected Vice Chairperson Manpreet Kaur also thanked the Block Samiti members and the party leadership, stating that she would work wholeheartedly to live up to the trust placed in her. She said that she would work together with the Chairman and all members to further accelerate development and public welfare works in the villages under Block Samiti Dhuri.
She further added that through the Block Samiti, priority would be given to the development of basic facilities in villages, including sanitation management, roads, drinking water, and other welfare works so that better facilities can be provided to the people living in rural areas.
