Chandigarh:- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released the marking scheme for the board exams of classes 10 and 12. The theory paper for subjects like English Elective, Hindi Elective, Sanskrit Elective, Mathematics etc. will be of 80 marks while the internal assessment will be of 20 marks.
The theory paper for Economics, Sociology, History and Political Science will be of 80 marks while the project work will be of 20 marks. The theory paper for Psychology will be of 70 marks along with 30 marks for practical.
The theory of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology will be of 70 marks and the practical will be of 30 marks. For Geography of class XII, there will be 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board's examination controller, said that schools should give practical marks to students only as per this letter.
